A man found shot-to-death at a Savannah nightclub March 16 was a suspect in a Sept. 1 double homicide and Savannah-Chatham police are continuing to search for an accomplice.

Sidney Grant, 32, who was found dead in front of Club Frozen when officers responded to a call of a shooting about 2 a.m. March 16, had been sought as a person of interest in the Labor Day weekend shooting deaths of Emily Pickels, 21, and Michael Biancosino, 30.

The pair was gunned down while inside Biancosino’s car about 3:45 a.m. just outside Pickels’ Henry Street apartment. Police found them shot-to-death inside his crashed car near the intersection of Henry and Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard.

Savannah-Chatham police spokesman Julian Miller said homicide detectives are renewing their request that anyone with information about Pickels’ and Biancosino’s deaths contact investigators.

A total of $13,225 in rewards money is available to tipsters who provide information about the case thanks to contributions made by friends and family members of the victims.

SCMPD Violent Crimes Unit detectives are continuing to investigate. Anyone with information on the case is asked to call Crimestoppers at 912-234-2020 or text CRIMES (274637). In the body type, include “CStop2020” plus the tip. Tipsters remain anonymous and may qualify for a cash reward.
