Tybee Arts Association to perform ‘Til Beth Do Us Part’
March 29-30 and April 5-7. Black Box Theater/Tybee ARTS Center, 7 Cedarwood Drive. The Tybee Arts Association Performing Society has scheduled its first play of the year, a rollicking comedy on the perils of being too busy and delegating too much. In “Til Beth Do Us Part,” a harried home executive hires Beth to be her assistant and as Beth takes over all decisions and aspects of the couple’s life, her husband and friends attempt to intervene — come see the solution! Friday and Saturday evening performances start at 7:30 p.m. Sunday matinees start at 3:30 p.m. Doors open 30 minutes before seating for socializing and viewing the art on display. Tickets are $18 for the general public and $15 for Tybee Arts Association members at the door. Reservations are suggested. Call 912-786-5920 to reserve seating.

Prescription drug drop-off program
Armstrong Atlantic State University has been selected by the Medical Association of Georgia as the Savannah area’s year-round prescription drug drop-off location. The Armstrong Police Department now hosts a permanent drop box for accepting unused prescription drugs, which is in the lobby of the university police building on campus, 11935 Abercorn St. The police department is open 24 hours a day, year-round. The program is open to the public, and all drop-offs are confidential. For more information, call the Armstrong Police Department at 912-344-3333.

Summer Art Camp Open Registration
The City of Savannah’s Department of Cultural Affairs will be accepting registrations for Summer Art Camp starting on April 1. Art Camp runs from June 3 to Aug. 9. Eight camp sessions will be offered for children, providing an introduction to painting, ceramics, jewelry, mixed media and performing arts in age-appropriate group settings. Summer Art Camp takes place at DCA Studios located at 9 W. Henry St.
Sessions 1 and 9 are introductory half-day camps open to children ages 4-6. These sessions are available from June 3-7 and Aug. 5-9 from 9 a.m. to noon. Half-day camp fees are $85 per child.
Sessions 2-8 are one-week full-day sessions open to children ages 6 -12. These sessions run from June 10 – Aug. 2 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.  Full-day camp fees are $135 per child.

Military Parent and Children’s Activity Day
9 a.m.-1 p.m. April 13. Armstrong Sports Center, 11935 Abercorn St. Armstrong Atlantic State University’s College of Education announces an on-campus event devoted to children whose parents are based at Fort Stewart and Hunter Army Airfield: Military Parent and Children’s Activity Day. The event is targeted for third- through fifth-graders and is free and open to the public. Registration deadline is April 1.

Davenport House — Teas in March
4:30 p.m. March 29. Davenport House Museum, 324 E. State St. Learn about tea traditions and experience an early 19th-century tea in the historic atmosphere of the Isaiah Davenport House Museum. Patrons will tour areas of the historic home where tea service took place and will participate in an afternoon tea with costumed interpreters. "In the Pines"
Through April 1. The Gallery Espresso. The Gallery Espresso presents “In the Pines,” a group show featuring recent work by three up-and -coming Savannah talents: Gordon Rabut, Mariel Zayas-Bazan and Lucas Rager. The exhibit consists of drawings, paintings and etchings with a wide range of subject matter. A reception for the artists will be from 6-9 p.m. March 29.

Ray Ellis Spring Exhibition
March 22 through April 20. Ray Ellis Gallery, 205 West Congress St. It’s been a year since Ray Ellis has been to Savannah. And after painting all winter, the spring exhibition, “New Southern Paintings” will run from March 22 through April 20 at the gallery. This new collection of watercolors and oils includes many of his favorite subjects: sailing on the coast, boating on marsh creeks, floral still lifes, courtyard scenes and much more. March featured artists at Gallery 209
March. Gallery 209, 209 River St. Gallery 209 will feature the work of artists Kathy Miller and Linda Whitt Smith in the month of March. Longtime Savannah artist Kathy Miller’s oil paintings have been a favorite of Savannahians and visitors for more than 40 years. Good Friday Tenebrae service
7:30 p.m. March 29. First Presbyterian Church, 520 Washington Ave. First Presbyterian Church will conduct a Good Friday Tenebrae service on March 29 at 7:30 p.m. This traditional service includes the reading of the Passion along with prayers and music.
