LILBURN, Ga. (AP) — Police are trying to identify a man who was struck and killed while he crossed a road in the Atlanta suburb of Lilburn.
The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports (http://bit.ly/17nCuR9) that the man was struck in a dimly-lit section of street near Pleasant Hill and Burns roads around 8:45 p.m. Sunday. He was taken to Eastside Medical Center, where he died.
No charges are pending against the driver, whose name was not released.
The pedestrian is described as a Hispanic male between 25 and 35 years old with short black hair and facial stubble.
A receipt in his possession led police to a Walmart store in Duluth, where they recovered surveillance video of the man parking a red pick-up truck with a silver tool box in the back and entering the store.
