8:30 a.m. April 19. Woodville Tompkins Technical & Career High School. A Spring Tour of Schools will provide an informative session and on-site visits to Savannah-Chatham public schools. The bus will depart from Woodville Tompkins Technical & Career High School at 9 a.m. The tour includes Islands High School, Gadsden Elementary, Esther F. Garrison School of Visual And Performing Arts and New Hampstead High School.
Savannah Riverfront annual Fine Arts Show

Week of the Young Child is an opportunity for early childhood education programs across the country to host activities to bring awareness to the needs of young children.
Plant drive and fundraiser
5-8 p.m. April 19. ThincSavannah, 35 Barnard St. In honor of Earth Day, ThincSavannah will host its first annual Earth Day “Pot Party” plant drive and fundraiser to benefit Savannah’s Forsyth Market. More than 1 billion people take part in Earth Day across the globe to help protect the planet we all call home. Guests will enjoy food from Green Truck Pub, cocktails and live music by Waits & Co., a local acoustic Americana and alt-country band. Admission is free with a donation of one potted plant or $10, which will be donated to the Forsyth Farmers Market. This event is open to the public.
Savannah Young Lawyers fundraiser
April 19-20. World of Beer, Broughton Street. The Savannah Young Lawyers “Boar Association” is organizing a week of festivities at the World of Beer on Broughton Street. Join the Boars as they trade litigation for libation to raise awareness and funds for Kiss-A-Pig 2013. The Live Charity Auction & Cask Night begins at 7 p.m. April 19. Proceeds from all events will benefit the 2013 Kiss-A-Pig campaign of the Savannah Boar Association.
Bingo night in Bloomingdale

Sahar is a writer specializing in architecture, interiors and design whose work has appeared in publications including Dwell, Interiors, Interior Design, House Beautiful and Elle Décor magazines. NOGS Tour of Hidden Gardens
10 a.m. to 4 p.m. April 19-20. The 38th annual NOGS Tour of Hidden Gardens will be April 19-20. Southern tea will take place each day from 2-4 p.m. at the Green Meldrim House.
