The Atlanta Falcons will open the 2013 football season in New Orleans on Sept. 8 at 1 p.m. The league announced team schedules on Thursday night.
The Falcons’ home opener is Sept. 15 against the St. Loius Rams.
Atlanta ends the regular season with 2012 playoff teams Green Bay, Washington and San Francisco before ending the season with the Carolina Panthers.
