CrimeStoppers officials announced Tuesday additional money had been made available in the March 29 robbery of Savannah credit union
The Chatham Federal Credit Union contributed $2,500 to the reward fund available to tippers who provide information that leads to an arrest in the about 10:30 a.m. robbery of its 606 East 67th Street location, said Catherine Neal, CrimeStoppers spokeswoman.
Witnesses at the scene told investigators they saw the suspect take money and leave, but they were unaware of which direction he’d fled. The suspect is described as a black male between 5-foot-f and 5-foot-6 and about 145 pounds, Neal said. He’s described as having a medium build and wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt, dark pants, orange gloves and a mask.
