Savannah-Chatham police said Wednesday that they are no longer searching for two men wanted for questioning in the investigation of the shooting of two people on West Broughton Street Friday morning.
Julian Miller, police spokesman, said detectives had spoken with the men, who are no longer sought.
As many as 100 people were present near Broughton and Jefferson streets when a confrontation took place about 3 a.m.
One victim was treated at Memorial University Medical Center. Another victim was transported to the same hospital by private automobile with a non-life threatening wound.
Police had asked for the public's help in locating the young men who were spotted driving away from the location in BMW.
