ATLANTA (AP) — Police say one man was killed and three others were injured when a tractor-trailer ran a red light and hit three other cars.
Fulton County Detective Melissa Parker tells WGCL-TV (http://bit.ly/RA4fza ) that officers responded to the accident around 11:40 p.m. Monday. Witnesses told investigators the truck ran a red light and hit the driver's side of a Toyota Solara. The truck then swerved and hit a Nissan Altima head-on before rolling onto a Toyota Camry.
The man driving the Solara died in the crash.
The male tractor-trailer driver suffered non-life-threatening injuries, while the female Altima driver had serious injuries. Both were taken to Grady Memorial Hospital. The man driving the Camry had minor injuries and declined treatment.
Charges are pending the results of the investigation.
