Tybee Mayor Jason Buelterman took to his Twitter account this morning to sing the praises of all those who responded to the explosion and fire on Tybee Island on Friday.
His tweet: "Kudos to Tybee Public Safety team. No one injured in bad fire last night.They even managed to save the cat."

Although several people were inside the structure when the fire started, everyone was able to escape without injury, Buelterman said.
