Savannah-Chatham police were investigating Thursday night after they found one man shot on a westside Savannah street and another man showed up at a local hospital with a gunshot wound.
A man in his mid-20s was found suffering from a gunshot wound near the intersection of West 41st and Florance Streets after police responded to the report of gunshots about 8 p.m. That man was rushed to Memorial University Medical Center with injuries that were not expected to be life-threatening, said Julian Miller, police spokesman.
Meanwhile a 22-year-old man showed up at Memorial with a gunshot wound. His injuries were not life-threatening, Miller said.
Police late Thursday were continuing to investigate in the area near 41st and Florance, however they had not determined if the second gunshot victim was related to the shooting there, Miller said.
No additional information was immediately available.
