Oatland Island Wildlife Center held its annual Harvest Festival and Cane Griding on Saturday. It included old fashioned Georgia traditon with music, food, crafts and games.

Visitors also enjoyed hearth baked corn bread, cane syrup and other open fire cooked foods. The Savannah Folk Music Society and the Home Cookin' Cloggers entertained while children enjoyed hay rides, pony rides, crafts and games. There were also weaving and spinning demonstrations.
Wildlife Center spokeswoman Annette Quinting said about 800 visitors attended.
