Savannah-Chatham police and the Federal Bureau of Investigation are investigating today after two masked gunmen robbed a Southside Savannah credit union.
The robbers entered the Savannah Postal Credit union, jumped on the counter and took money before fleeing on foot, said Julian Miller, metro police spokesman.
Miller said the suspects were described as black males between 5’ 6” and 5’ 10” in all black clothing with large handguns.
FBI Agents and metro robbery detectives, Miller said, are currently working to obtain better descriptions of the suspects.
Anyone with information on the case is asked to call Crimestoppers at 912-234-2020 or text CRIMES (273637). Tipsters remain totally anonymous and may qualify for a cash reward.
